Black vegan nappa leather clutch with gold/black stag beetle embroidery. This bag is hand embroidered in gold and black metallic spring wire with Aari stitch, using a hooked awl needle. A handful of families in Lucknow, India still practice the Aari stitch which dates back to 17th century Mughal courts. We are proud to collaborate with these master artisans to advance the art of hand embroidery. 75% of the raw materials in this product are locally sourced. All glues used are water-based.

CARE
Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not clean embroidery. The gold metallic spring wire used in embroidery may naturally oxidize over time, giving the embroidery an antique patina—store bag in a dustbag or wrapped in soft muslin.
