Fuchsia velvet clutch with baroque wasps embroidery. This bag is hand embroidered in gold and garnet metallic spring wire with Aari stitch, using a hooked awl needle. A handful of families in Lucknow, India still practices the Aari stitch which dates back to 17th century Mughal courts. We are proud to collaborate with these master artisans to advance the art of hand embroidery. 95% of the raw materials in this product are locally sourced. All glues used are water-based.

CARE
Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not clean embroidery. The gold and red metallic spring wire used in embroidery may naturally oxidize over time, giving the embroidery an aged patina. Store the bag in the dust bag provided or wrapped in soft muslin.
